Our Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice is designed for students who plan to transfer to a university and complete a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, corrections, or a related field. You’ll gain a strong academic foundation while completing core coursework that meets transfer requirements.

Already a Licensed Officer?
Texas licensed peace officers, correctional officers, and jailers may be eligible to receive credit for select courses (CJLE 1172 and CJLE 1211) once all other degree requirements are completed.

Tuition Exemption for Peace Officers
This program may provide an exemption from some tuition and laboratory fees to eligible persons employed as a Peace Officer by the state of Texas or by a political subdivision of Texas.
